We prepared a workshop that we called Navi Arte, intending to give our children a space characterized by creativity and fun. The purpose was to stimulate creative development at home by using available materials in order to reduce moments of “boredom” during summer holidays, avoiding excess in less healthy entertainment such as videogames and television. “Our little hands’ expression is good for the spirit and body because it produces an energizing effect”, explains Laura Bachetta member of our Recreation Staff. Creative act allows externalizing personal characteristics; its acceptance and recognition feeds the child´s individual self-esteem giving them greater security in their relationships. As a consequence of the proposal’s approval, we make two workshops on the 17th and 22nd of December. Together we create Christmas bags, key chains, messages cards and so on. We had fun, we tasted a delicious snack and we feel happy for having shared a wonderful day with them. Thank you very much for joining us!
