As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our hospital lights up pink to raise awareness about breast cancer, along with emblematic buildings around the world.
Every night in October, the facade of its historic building on Italy Avenue will be pink in order to give visibility to the most common oncological disease in Uruguay, reminding the reflection of the entire community.
The light intervention of the old building joins a series of activities focused on the prevention and timely detection of breast cancer that the British Hospital will carry out during the month of October, and that will close in November with a scientific activity world-class with international guests and numerous experts involved in the cure of this disease.
