WORKSHOP | Breastfeeding: Creating Sustainable Support Systems

EVENT DATE:
08/08/2025

EVENT PLACE:
British Hospital, Auditorioum B

We invite you to participate in a learning and reflection event. Let's think together about how to support and strengthen breastfeeding from different roles. How to contribute, both individually and institutionally to build sustainable environments that make it possible.

This activity is taking place within the framework of World Breastfeeding Week, celebrated from the 1st to the 7th of August under the official theme:

"Prioritize breastfeeding: create sustainable support systems."

This motto reminds us that breastfeeding is not only an individual and family act, but also a practice with an environmental impact. For mothers to breastfeed with confidence, sustainable environments are needed: family, community, and institutional.

How can we contribute from our position and as an Institution to build networks that support breastfeeding in a real and lasting way?

During the workshop, we will address:

- Emotional and logistical support at home

- Professional support

- Adequate spaces in institutions

- Policies that make a difference

We will have a children's area so you can come as a family and enjoy the workshop.

Each person can be an esencial link in building a true breastfeeding support system.

Your participation is key.
