Last 28th of July was held the opening of the British Hospital Carrasco Clinical Center in the presence of the British Ambassador, Mr. Ben Lyster-Binns, members of the British Hospital Society, the Board of Directors, Doctors, Managers and Hospital Employees. “Today we see a dream come true that the Hospital has been looking forward to from a few years ago. An exhaustive search of an appropriate place to provide the right service was carried out considering in the architectural design the harmony with the surroundings”, mentioned in his opening speech Martín Wells, President of the Board of Directors. “The main goal of Carrasco Clinical Center is to provide a better service and convenience to our members, making the access easier not only in what time is concerned but also in the distance to those who live or work in the east part of Montevideo and in the Coast Town (Ciudad de la Costa), he continued. “It is important to specify that we do not intend to make a bigger hospital but to provide our members with comfort, spatiality and a better access to medical services”, he added. After the words of the President Mr. Martín Wells, the British Ambassador Mr. Ben Lyster-Binns did the ribbon cutting, honoring a new milestone in the history of the hospital.
