We are pleased to share the incorporation of a new specialized otorhinolaryngology service aimed at patients with swallowing disorders in both children and adults, including diagnosis, therapeutic recommendation and evolutionary follow-up.
This new polyclinic is in charge of Dr. Inés Doassans who addresses this issue interacting with the specialties that assist these patients.
In the Deglutition Polyclinic, the Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) is also performed, being a study which allows to evaluate the efficacy and safety of swallowing, granting a recommendation for treatment together with all the medical equipment that assists the patient.
